Like this quote from your ign article. "The Xbox One is a bit more multimedia, a bit more hub-centric so its a bit more complex. There’s stuff you can and can’t do because it’s a sort of multimedia hub. PS4 doesn’t have that. PS4 is just a games machine."
@annus
They make fun on the story for being generic and gamers not knowing, nor caring, what the plot is.
They just came in stock the week of the 15, maybe to offset XBox One sales due to Titanfall, but certainly to have stock for those of us who want to play inFamous. There were hard to come by in the weeks before. No one had them in Indy.
Titanfall and inFamous both high five each other for pushing sales for their respective consoles. This gen is going to be another round of AWESOME!!!
My favorite hidden gem in inFamous..."Cole McG's Electronics". I like the thought of Cole and Zeke starting an eletronics repair conglomerate. Probably a proud corporate sponsor of the Conduit Rights League. A bit of a happy ending from the start of the series...miss those guys.
Like Kinect, I'm more interested in Morpheus' non-gaming applications...!
Wow, a whole hour of content...! I'm just saying Ubi loving PS4 doesn't mean they hate the XBone, whoevers blog it is on. I bought GTAV pissed about the exclusive DL, but eventually got that too. Get over it.
First I thought the gameplay and the power set are not unlike the original inFamous, and the smoke powers we've seen before in inFamous 2. I didn't care, but then I got the neon powers and realized that Sucker Puch cared about advancing their gameplay.
How I fight with neon totally changed my strategy. Although the rockets, drop punch, hand blasts, etc. are still are effective the same...the running is a total rush...literally. From what I'm reading from folks ...
LOL @ all the people who correcting Fireseed on the games "that look and run better on X1".
He pretty much said he doesn't care...and maybe you shouldn't either.
Now I preferred the 360 controller over the PS3 controller. So believe me when I say the DS4 is on par with the XBox One controller. The XBox One just doesn't have a touchpad and the DS4 doesn't take AA's - no big deal really.
The only thing that I think is a real difference is the Share button, and while convenient, it isn't a game changer.
Butthurt much? Watch Dogs is a third party Ubisoft game...! If they like what the PS4 can bring, it still doesn't mean your XBone version will suck. I'm sure there will be an article on Kinect integration for you.
Wouldn't this run into the same limitation as Onlive? The performance and latency of those systems differ based on where you are in the country. They would have to have several servers across the entire world to make the "Cloud" meaningful. Plus, you would have to be online all the time like MS wanted. I don't think a server/software solution will ever be more practical than a hardware solution. That is why RROD was a problem for the 360, MS thinking software can more tha...
@Gameon95...Drive Club, EDF 4, Deep Down, Order 1886, Shadow of the Beast, Yakuza Ishin, Mobile Suit Gundam said hello.
Then what were titles like Metro, Ryse, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, and Alan Wake...? MS is not on par with Sony and Nintendo in the number of first party offerings, but they don't exactly just rinse and repeat Halo Gears and Forza every year or so and forsake new IPs. Halo Gears and Forza are ultra-successful titles. They'd be crazy not to develop sequels.
It's like this at the start of every console launch, and there is usually a dearth of games in the summer too.
I do agree that no DLNA on PS4 means it is a piss poor media player. It is not a system I would want for my living room at this moment. But it can go in den.
I heard there was a Day One patch that added more mission.
He sleeps on beds stuffed with MS money.
I'm certain lots of cats are waiting for the 360 version. They should have had it XBox One ONLY exclusive. With rumors that it won't be exclusive next time, why would you buy an XBox One soley for Titanfall? Get it on the 360 and buy a PS4...!
I like multi-player games, even some multiplayer only games like MAG. But Titanfall needs a single player campaign...a story that my character follows.
... on a high end PC. Let's hope for same real game examples of cloud computations for real time graphics the week of E3.
